We stayed here with a group of friends while hiking in the beautiful Howardian Hills. The village vibe is charming, and the local atmosphere at the hotel was warm, especially with live music during our visit. The gardens were gorgeous, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The hearty food and comfy rooms made our stay enjoyable. Definitely a great spot to recharge after outdoor adventures!
One downside was that the sound from the bar could be a bit noisy at times, especially on open mic nights, which might disrupt those seeking a quiet evening.

Great place for a family getaway
We had a little family adventure staying at this charming spot. The breakfast was superb, I mean, the best black pudding I've ever tasted, and trust me, I know good food when I see it.
Not exactly pocket change, but honestly, it was still worth it.

I loved the cozy feel of the lounge with the coal fire. it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The food was a delightful surprise, especially the homemade pie – the best I've had in North Yorkshire! Waking up to an incredible veggie fry up and freshly baked croissants felt like a true treat.
